netsfan3 That one voucher was cashed in many times when it doubled. Many times I would break it into 2 or 3 vouchers in my wallet. I advised people many times not to use large vouchers in the machines. Almost everyone who bets the machines with vouchers has lost a voucher in the machine. Bettors are very careless with vouchers.

Etsfan3 I hate to respond cause this will never end but I have absolutely no problem with veterans who served in combat zones or any disabled person getting fully taken care of. My problem is with people who don’t need it taking advantage of programs ie. Senior freeze ,property tax rebates stealing the available funds that could help residents in need. So far be it from me if u need it god bless

Besides that being silly, and grossly unpopular who could possibly regulate such a system. Sounds a bit like socialism, Bernie Sanders style. Or, maybe you are in the Warren camp with a wealth tax for people who have amassed a lot of money. But, are now retired? I have no problem with a progressive income tax being raised while property taxes are lowered. I think most people think that makes common sense.

How can u call yourself a form player in the two “form” contests which I prefer to call chalk contests you have done nothing at all either . So it doesn’t matter chalk or longshot you will only earn a participation trophy by betting chalk

I saw some posts regarding Remington but in my recollection Remington opens in August but I thought contest didn’t begin until September haven’t seen any confirmation either

For some reason I can't post an archive.org link here and 123 Racing's own website seems to be down at the moment (!!!), but on it they offer lots of services to racetracks. One is to administer a contest, and yes, they're charging tracks to do so.

So let's not pretend that this is some sort of charity event. If you want to thank someone for the contest, thank Monmouth Park, who's paying for it.

It has to be u , malekith in the 11th is a greAt bet if u need to stay alive in contest carvajal is the trainer of the horse who set track record at Saratoga and he uses apprentices all the time for the 10 pd bug allowance especially with this horse who he sends to front and sees how far he will go that being said the 5th is a contest gimme to the survivor since 5 horses so a bomb in 10th or 11th isn’t a reach

All but 300 picked less than 20% failed to pick if they were to cancel hope they decide before the races were run

netsfan3 Did not play either the 1st or 2nd race. I was in a Twitter argument on the 7th race. I say LATHER UP goes off 1/5. Others say he will go off much higher. You know that I usually err the other way. Horses I think will go off 4/5 end up 1/5. Not playing that race either.

sorry fuzzy that was not meant to be a knock on trotters I agree they can run trotters forever but I was originally from the southern half of jersey which is thorobred country since I moved to north jersey it’s all trotters country but I just personally find the flats more entertaing a race. Too often I watch a driver sitting in the sulky up here racing Indian style for 3/4 of the race I can’t enjoy it

meanmistermustard Love the standardbreds. Despite my contributions Roosevelt Raceway closed. The sulky compromised the flow and results of the races though. Position all important especially on the half mile. But that never kept me home.

I can’t quite understand if this is such a big day in racing that the track won’t. Cancel irregardless of the welfare of the horses let alone the patrons out there drinking the tracks 8 dollar beers from 8am to 6pm in the heat then why is the only telecast from 5 to 6 no undercard is telecast on any cable channel ? At least the meds makes it whole day on hambone day and I hate trotters

Fuzzypants You no that's to bad Bigs cause I've got one that raced 241 times another who raced 170 and another 140 you will never ever get that much mileage racing on any Thoroughbred. Plus all the horse deaths raceing in California last year only 2 were Standardbreds only one of the two deaths was a fracture bone.
