Ho hum a Servis won and a NAvarro second. I hope they have the microscope out on these guys.

kdog94 From trainer Eddie Plesa. People will look at that and think that is the sport,” Plesa said. “For Navarro to be yelling out ‘juice’ is mind-boggling to me. Here’s a trainer that has a tremendous win percentage. I think you would have to look far and deep for anyone to say he’s that much superior to the rest of the trainers that are back here, or in the industry. And to be yelling that, whether he means it literally or whatever, it would be the last thing I would want coming out of my mouth.”

6 bailed me out in the 5th. 10 bucks and I jumped ther chalkers from the earlier races. Comical.

Track looks like an absolute ghost town. Sad to see.

The lazy people who didn't go and adjust their picks this morning got two gifts early on. Ridiculous.

danna101 There are many of us that have to go to work and don't sit at a computer all day, like actually working outside doing hard work...……………….we are definitely NOT lazy.

Battle of Futility today. Two bridge jumpers so to speak: Navarro's horse in the 2nd and McCarthy's mount in the 4th.

    KatiesDaDa And Navarro won. Shocker.

    Haskell looking pretty light

netsfan3 Just woke up at 10:30 from a terrible dream. I was trying to get out of town on a prop plane. They were being smashed out of the sky by a King Kong gorilla. Glad my wife woke me up. The wife started bitching about me falling asleep with the television on.

That Long Branch isn't even a glorified allowance race. I guess Belmont sucked out the horses and the jocks for the day.

I guess the rain wasn't as bad up there. Was expecting tons of scratches today.

Did Jane Cibelli get pinched for something illegal a year or two ago in FL?

Frankie Pennington has always been a great turf rider for as long as I've been following him and of course I didn't pick him in the 3rd but had him in the 5th. Looking ahead to tomorrow, might be another free pass day since it's gonna be like a monsoon starting tonight and those turf races will get wiped off the board. Look for a 3 or 4 horse field a few times tomorrow.

bellesforever Wish I'd picked the Servis horse in the 3rd toyed with it but backed the wrong horse

Interesting condition in the 5th. I remember when I started betting and following more in the late 80's early 90's that Philly Park would have races for PA and NJ breds together because they also owned Garden State Park and would have them when they were dark.

Another No-Varro crashes and burns in the 3rd. At least I got a 3rd and will see you tomorrow.

Another 5 horse stakes race field. The DelCap card yesterday was pretty much evident of what happens, whether Songbird was running or not. Welcome to summer time at the East Coast tracks.

    Popped a 5-1 in a 3 horse field. Crazy.

Looks like a bunch of No-Varros will be overbet today...AGAIN.

netsfan3 Through 6 races, it is obvious you ain't beating the horse in front today. Just couldn't bet ROSIE P at 3/5. Not betting at Monmouth today with real money. Might bet the 10th at Grand River tonight. Or, just pick Monmouth and the Big M for Saturday and watch DATELINE. The husband is almost always found guilty of killing the wife. Puts me to sleep every Friday night at 10:50 E.S.T. Emerald Downs just throw out some random numbers.

Who's leading the chalk burner standings, Paco or Bravo?

BlowUpTheTote Again, I really can't resist a reply to a completely, Totally, NITWIT comment, but the residual result is the problem that ensues,..the fact that I really no longer have time to respond too "Net's" ridiculous (taken out-a context), recourse to everything I put into perspective.
"Jorge Navarro" happens to acquire horses by the masses, whether through an exchange of ownership, or on his own. He then places them into a position for a WINNING opportunity,..many times on the DROP, just trying to recognize each individual horses relative CLASS LEVEL. If the public so inclines to wager upon them beyond realistic value due to an often "misconception ON PAPER," then that's the gamblers WRONG perception,..that's NOT a legitimate reason to BLAME J. Navarro,..capiche??? Do YOU (Mr. Net's) have any clue about how to both TRAIN, as well as MANGE a Racing Stable,..cause I do!!! ...nuff said!

I do crappier in these 5 horse fields than I do in a field of 10 or more

I don't think Bravo was overbet this much in his prime as Paco is now

netsfan3 Katie: You are mistaken. They made Bravo the favorite on mules on the Monmouth turf for years. Watch today. #9 PAR in the 8th race will go off at 3/5. Almost everyone in the contest picked him as well. Personally, have now switched to #2 Secured Position in the 7th race due to a scratch. Shannon Uske's horse is dropping in Company FROM NY races. At 6/1 that is a good bet. That does not mean it will win. Only implies that I believe the true odds should be around 7/2.
